Villas by the Sea Resort & Conference Center is adjacent to Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, 40 km from Brunswick Golden Isles. The resort features villa rentals on 17 acres with tropical landscaping. It provides a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and there is a 24-hour front desk and an ATM. Jekyll Island is protected by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Additional perks of the hotel
Beach access is available during low tide by walking to the far northern tip of our parking lot (Austin Building) and following the sign to Driftwood Beach. Guests can also drive a short distance to the nearby public beach, Oceanview Beach Park.
Beach chairs and umbrellas are available on our upper sandy beach. Guests can also enjoy our large swimming pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a sun deck at Villas by the Sea Resort.
Bike rentals are available.
Menu specialties at Driftwood Bistro include meat loaf, stuffed flounder, herb-crusted pork tenderloin, and fried, grilled and blackened Wild Georgia shrimp.
Meeting facilities are available with 20 group room nights required for 1/2 of the ballroom venue.

The resort offers studio, mini, one, two, and three-bedroom villas. Studio Villas feature one queen bed, a sitting area, a mini kitchen, a full bath, and a small patio. Mini Villas have a sitting area with a mini kitchen. One-Bedroom Villas offer a queen bed, a full bath, and a patio. Two-Bedroom Villas include two private bedrooms and one full bath, with a living/dining room combination on the bottom level. Three-Bedroom Villas have one king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the top floor guest room, and one queen bed on the main hotel floor. ADA-compliant accessible rooms feature a king bed, a petite refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot.
